students and faculty on a suspended footbridgeNew College students make a difference on and off the UA campus. This requires a commitment to community. And it takes a special group of leaders to bring New College students together to forge that community.

Each spring, faculty select students to serve on the New College Council for the following academic year. Council members meet regularly to identify opportunities for New College students at UA and in the community. Further, through social events, informational sessions, recruitment efforts, and an annual retreat, the New College Council fosters a learning community founded on collaboration.

Meet with your advisor if you’d like to be considered for the New College Council.
